Roma was born from the collaboration between Alessandro Scandurra and Panzeri. Its form evokes the classical beauty and purity of the Doric column.

In the grooved column, the sharp edges capture the light, and it is with this light that Roma illuminates, challenging the relationship between natural and artificial light, between day and night. In this conceptual shift, the legacy of history transcends the concept of time.

The ancient comes to life in a luminous body—an hologram taking the form of a column, a strong and expressive symbol, an archetype that characterizes and guides the space. 

The product aims to create a conceptual and chronological bridge between classical antiquity and contemporary times: like a clock that marks the hours with meticulously designed gears, Roma transcends the very notion of time.

In the lighting design market, Roma is not just a functional and technically efficient object, but also seeks to reinterpret history in light of values that remain universal today. The form and technical features of Roma allow it to enhance environments with ancient elements, while at the same time adding charm and refinement to minimalist and modern settings.
