“Il Piccolo” is the specially designed bistro inside the historic Milanese Peck shop on Via Spadari. The space was conceived as a continuum to harmonise the new with the existing. The decision to place the bistro in the centre of the floor plan favours continuity between what is being enjoyed and the fine products for sale displayed in the surrounding windows. “Il Piccolo” echoes Peck’s 1930s style in the classic cafĂ© and bistro atmospheres that were revisited in his stylistic evolution up to the 1960s, with the skilful and calibrated insertion of details such as “tiger” wooden borders.

Il Piccolo’s layout is reminiscent of an amphitheatre surrounded by leather benches. The centrepiece is a wooden counter with dark glass and zinc reflections, freely inspired by the historic Peck.

With warm chocolate and honey tones and subdued lighting, the space recalls Peck’s Central European origins in Milan, ensuring that anyone seeking a cosy corner for refreshment can enjoy a unique experience that appeals to all the senses.
